Las Iguanas

Liverpool One fave Las Iguanas is celebrating their 10 year Liverpool-anniversary this month with a bit of a make-over. There's a new bar area, an extended outdoor piazza and a whole lotta neon, too.

Of course it's still happy hour all day errrrrr'y day giving you the perfect excuse to try the new guava version of their famous Caipirinha- made with their own Magnifica Cachaca no less, and there's some nice new additions to the menu too. I've been wanting to try Chicken Coxinha for a while so I was happy to see these little Brazilian croquettes on the new menu, served alongside a bowl of super sweet, sticky chilli jam. (Whilst we're on the topic of starters the Pato Taquito which has been on the menu since the start is still really good and you should definitely give it a try).

Whilst there's loads of new main options, including Carne de Sol a Brazilian salt cured beef rib, there is of course all the old favourites too and if you can leave without ordering  Chipotle Chicken Enchilada you have stronger willpower than me!

Whilst I'll gladly admit it's not the most gorgeous-looking dinner option it certainly delivers on the taste front. Washed down with 241 cocktails it's the all the fun of the old Las Iguanas restaurant just wrapped up in a shiny new package.

* I was kindly invited to the re-launch of Las Iguanas but all words, thoughts and opinions are my own!
