Small Plates at Siren

Head up to the top end of town, just past the Chinese arch, a little further up than the Baltic and you may just come across Siren. It's a stunning, circular building with floor to ceiling glass and walls of twinkling fairy lights and, up until recently, I was under the impression it was purely an events space.

Like many things in life I was completely wrong, and whilst they are renowned for hosting stunning weddings and beautiful baby showers, they're also pretty popular as a day-time cafe and coffee shop, too.

Expanding on the success of their breakfasts, Siren are now offering an evening menu. It's small-plates based and available Tuesday-Friday from 4 until around 7pm and, just like the rest of the restaurant, the food stunning.

Hold tight for the pics!

Olives & Guac
Halloumi Fries
Ricotta Croquettes

Roasted Cauli
Broccoli & Feta
Parmesan Fries with Roast Garlic Aioli
Coconut Prawns
Flat-Iron Steak
Marinated Wings

Hot Smoked Salmon
Whilst I'd love to say I managed to order (and eat) this much, this was all sampled as part of a brilliant Bloggers evening to give us a taster of what they're offering. However, not only was the food as pretty as a picture, there was not one dish I wouldn't order again!

It's 5 small plates and a bottle of wine for £30 at the moment and I can't think of a more beautiful setting to relax with a pal.

Find more info about Siren on their website here.

Gifted as part of a press night but as always all thoughts are completely honest and my own!
